The quickpark on-street parking control system combines simple to use, state of the art technology, with entry level (skill) staff working as Parking Marshals. Typically one Parking Marshal would control between 10 and 15 parking bays per day. They would use the quickpark system to record all parking activities and accept the payment thereof.
Using the quickpark system involves deploying Parking Marshals on the streets of the city, in an organised and co-ordinated manner. This removes opportunistic vagrants from the streets of the city, thus reducing incidents of petty theft and crime. Over time the city will become much safer to visit and enjoy.
The quickpark system would not be a cost to the municipality, to either purchase or operate. The municipality would appoint a Service provider to install and Operate the Parking Control system with the proceeds from the parking operation paying for all the costs involved. The quickpark system and comprehensive training would be provided to the appointed Operator in order to manage the parking.
